Manoel Neto is a brown belt at Checkmat Qatar, a professional Jiu-Jitsu athlete, and a dedicated coach focused on the technical and competitive development of the team. Known for his intensity and strategic mindset, Manoel represents the new generation of instructors who combine experience on the mats with a passion for teaching.
My Mission
Martial arts, being my passion, allowed me to find a platform through which we can
connect and constantly learn from each other and our surroundings. My mission is to
provide guidance and support you on your exploration of martial arts, regardless if you are
a hobbyist, aspiring fighter or a professional. The practice of martial arts has allowed me to
change my life and the lives around me — and I’m looking forward to continuing to assist
others in their discovery through this platform and team building.
📖 Jiu-Jitsu Journey
Born in Natal/RN, Brazil, Manoel began his Jiu-Jitsu journey at the age of 16 and quickly stood out as a competitor. His constant pursuit of improvement led him to the Checkmat Tá Danado Team in Natal/RN and later to the Middle East, where he began training and teaching at Checkmat Qatar under the leadership of Matheus Tá Danado.
With a career marked by dedication and discipline, Manoel has become an essential figure in the team’s growth on the
international stage.

As an active competitor, Manoel Neto has reached the podium at national and international tournaments, always representing the Checkmat flag with determination and grit.
He has competed in AJP Tour events and national championships, gaining valuable experience against top athletes in the sport.
His athlete mindset is passed on to his students, who learn not only techniques but also the fighting spirit required for success.
